Sandy Cordon

Audiometrist

Sandy Cordon joins HEAR Center with an educational background. She received a B.A in Liberal Studies from CSU, Northridge and then pursued a career in teaching. Her background in an elementary school setting has prepared her to address the unique complexity of individual cases. Sandy is a licensed School Audiometrist following the completion of a post-baccalaureate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders at California State University, Los Angeles. In her time as a research assistant she discovered the acoustic importance of the quality and exposure of language through sound, and the profound implications that hearing loss has on a person’s life. She wants to focus on making the early detection of hearing loss more accessible and achievable for diverse populations.
