HEAR Center started offering services remotely via telehealth (online) as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020. As we navigate this pandemic and move forward, we are keeping remote services available for our clients, as well as some in-person appointments. All our telehealth services are provided using a HIPAA compliant platform. Please refer below for the various options for service.

Speech and Language evaluations and therapy

We provide telehealth services for speech and language evaluations and ongoing speech and language therapy (teletherapy). For more information, please visit our speech and language services page http://www.hearcenter.org/services/speech-language-pathology.

Hearing Aids

Free Hearing Consultations are available via telehealth. Hearing aid options can be discussed and selected during a telehealth consultation. Hearing aids will be fitted in person, and special arrangements can be made. Curbside options are available. For more information about hearing aids, visit http://www.hearcenter.org/services/hearing-aids or call us to schedule an appointment (626) 734-6555.

Speech Screenings

Speech and Language Screenings can be done via telehealth and are conducted on a pass or fail basis. The screening takes approximately 10-20 minutes, and a parent/adult must be present during the screening to assist. For more information, please visit http://www.hearcenter.org/outreach/pediatric-speech-screenings or contact our Screening Coordinator, Angelica Tamayo,  at (626) 734-6555 or via email at atamayo@hearcenter.org.

Webinars

Webinars are offered in various topics, such as audiology, speech & language, hearing aids, Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD), Tinnitus and more, and are available to everyone for FREE.  At the end of each webinar, you will be given the opportunity to ask questions.
