The HEAR Center Annual Golf Tournament has been the mainstay of HEAR Center’s fundraising efforts for 42 years and has raised $1,000,000 over the years. The annual tournament was founded in 1980 by concrete industry professionals Ruben Aman, Mal Gatherer and Bill Donald (whose granddaughter had hearing loss and was a “HEAR Angel”). The tournament has since grown to include the Who’s Who of the Southern California construction materials industry and related businesses — 35 companies and 150 individuals each year.
